Course
Yes, but please start in the back of the pack and stay to the right when on the course, so runners can safely pass.
The start line will be located on the corner of Warriors Way & Terry Francois Blvd., and the finish line will be on 16th St. & Terry Francois Blvd. For the full itinerary of start times, check out our “Event Info” page.
No, due to safety concerns, only baby strollers/joggers and wheelchairs are allowed on the course. We ask those with baby strollers/joggers to stage toward the back of the start line chute and stay to the right to not impede faster participants.
Yes, we just ask that you complete the course in one (1) hour or less, which is a 20 minute per mile pace. Roads will reopen at 10:45am, so please be sure to check your pace to ensure a positive experience.
There will be a medical tent and ambulance located at the finish-line at the corner of 16th St. & Terry Francois Blvd. In addition, there will be a mobile bike medic situated at the north turnaround nearby Mission Rock St. & Terry Francois Blvd.
Unfortunately, no. While we love dogs, not all of our participants do, and pets can create liabilities for their owners and the event. Our events can be loud and crowded at times, creating a reaction in even an otherwise calm pup.
Service animals trained to perform specific tasks excepted.

Yes, no problem. Have your designated person meet us at any of the following locations to pick up shirts, bibs, and timing chips.

Mercedes-Benz Garage at 99 Warriors Way (Open at 5am)
Disclaimer: For anyone who would like to park at the garage for the race, we will open at 5am and the rate is $7/hr with a max rate of $35. With it being a game day, the garage will stop public parking and go into the event rate of $75 starting at 2pm. That means if anyone stays in the garage after 2pm and going to the game, they will be charged the event rate on top of the $35.

Portable toilets will be located next to the start/finish line chute, with hand washing stations along side Bayfront Park—at the corner of 16th St. & Terry Francois Blvd.
We are providing you with RaceJoy as part of the official race experience for the Golden State 5K.
Download the RaceJoy mobile app in advance to ensure proper phone setup. Invite your friends and family to track you and send you cheers!
If you are participating as a virtual runner: You must enter your race-assigned bib number to automatically submit your finish data for real-time scored results.
In all cases: To use RaceJoy, you must carry your phone and activate tracking on the day you complete your race.
There will be no on-site gear check available so please plan accordingly.

Registration
Yes, general deferment requests to other events must be made at least 30 days prior to the original event date, which has already passed.
To make any of these edits, please sign into your RunSignUp.com account, and edit your registration through your Race Dashboard. We also offer insurance if purchased with your original entry - claims can be placed here.
